Reliance to Visit India and Exhibit at Aero India 2023

Jan 30, 2023

Reliance Precision Limited’s (‘Reliance’) Business Manager – Aerospace Defence & Space, Andy Butt, will shortly undertake sales visits in India, culminating in Reliance exhibiting at Aero India 2023.

The sales visits have been organised by Reliance’s local distributor in India, Strongfield Technologies India Private Limited (‘Strongfield’). Strongfield has over 40 years’ experience developing strategic relationships in the manufacturing and distribution of Defence and Aerospace technologies into the Indian public and private sectors. Reliance will be visiting BEL (Bharat Electronics Ltd) and the ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) in Bangalore, ECIL (Electronics Corporation of India Ltd), and BDL (Bharat Dynamics Limited) in Hyderabad, as well as other customers in Machilipatnam and Chennai.

At the end of the visits, Andy and his Strongfield colleagues will travel back to Bangalore to showcase Reliance’s capabilities and technology at Aero India 2023. The biennial air show and aviation exhibition takes place 13-17 February at the Yelahanka Air Force Station, where it has been held since 1996. Reliance will be exhibiting in Hall A, Stand 3.3, and will be among 730 exhibitors from India and across the world aiming to exchange ideas and forge collaborations in their quest to achieve excellence in aerospace and defence manufacturing. It is rumoured Prime Minister Narendra Modi, among other top officials, is likely to attend.

Andy comments “The visit to India will be a great opportunity for Reliance to continue supporting in-country manufacturing and assembly in order to meet the Indian Government’s aims in Defence and Aerospace. With non-Indian defence Primes needing to meet offset requirements as part of Make-I programmes, Reliance is well placed to support through in-country partnerships.”
