We are currently looking to recruit for the following positions:

Finisher

A vacancy has arisen for a full-time Finisher. Ideally candidates should have previous finishing experience, be forward looking, willing to embrace change and Continual Improvement. They should be conscientious, self-motivated and willing to help others within the department. They must be diligent and have a good attention to detail.

This will be a hands-on production role and requires flexibility to work extra hours at short notice if required and a high degree of team work.

Responsibilities may, at times, extend to other areas but key responsibilities are outlined below:

  • Bench hand skills displaying dexterity for precision work (including small sub-assemblies).
  • Tapping/drilling/reaming small holes.
  • Working with a visual scope, polishing & deburring.
  • Working to very fine limits and adept with Inspection techniques.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Capable of working with Production Engineering to optimise route cards.
  • Strict adherence to written processes & procedures.

CNC Miller

A vacancy has arisen for a full-time CNC Miller. Ideally candidates should have previous experience in operating CNC milling machines, be forward looking, willing to embrace change and Continual Improvement. They should be conscientious, self-motivated and willing to help others within the department. They must be diligent and have a good attention to detail.

This will be a hands-on production role and requires flexibility to work extra hours at short notice if required and a high degree of team work.

Responsibilities may, at times, extend to other areas but key responsibilities are outlined below:

  • Setting and operating of Hermle and various other multi-axis machining centres.
  • Editing and adjusting programs at the machine using Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
  • liaising with production engineers to develop new projects and optimise route cards.
  • Problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Working to very fine limits and adept with Inspection techniques. In-process inspection using CMM’s and various manual measuring equipment.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings.
  • Strict adherence to written processes & procedures.
