Last week I (Robert Farrell, Training School Manager) visited Kirklees College for a Stakeholder Meeting. As the training provider for our apprenticeship scheme, Kirklees College plays a vital role in supporting the development of our apprentices, so visits like this are incredibly important.
These meetings take place even 10 – 12 weeks and give us an opportunity to review each year group currently attending Kirklees College and to discuss curriculum plans for the following year, alongside other key updates. I attended the meeting with Jaime Larder, our HR Manager, and it was her first visit in this capacity.
The meeting was productive and provided a good opportunity to review progress and plan ahead collaboratively. The visit also included a tour of the facilities, led by Paul Edwards, where we had the opportunity to speak with various members of staff. The tour was particularly impressive and gave valuable insight into the facilities and the people supporting our learners. Overall, it was a positive and informative visit.Â
