Last week, our apprentices represented the Reliance Precision Apprenticeship Scheme at two careers events held at local schools.
Carys and Drew attended the Holmfirth High School Careers Fair on Tuesday. On Thursday, former apprentice, Maegan, accompanied our first-year apprentices to King James’s High School to support their first experience of representing the scheme.
The events gave students the chance to learn more about apprenticeships, engineering, and the different career paths available. Our apprentices spoke with students about their own experiences, sharing what it’s like to combine practical, hands-on learning with formal training as part of the Reliance apprenticeship scheme.
It was a great opportunity for our apprentices to develop their communication skills while helping to inspire the next generation to consider careers in engineering. A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped make both events a success.
