Reliance Precision Limited (‘Reliance’) is delighted to announce it has been certified to Defence Cyber Certification (DCC) Level 0.
The DCC is a cyber security certification framework for UK defence suppliers. It has been developed by the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) and IASME, to create an assessment and certification against the DefStan 05-138 i4, with the aim of enhancing the cyber resilience of the UK’s defence supply chain. The certification process helps companies identify and address vulnerabilities, ensuring they are prepared to respond to cyber threats. Operationally it streamlines procurement processes, reducing the need for repeated assessments by providing assurance of an organisation’s commitment to cyber resilience.
The DCC scheme provides a four-level certification framework (L0 – L3), with each level corresponding to the degree of cyber risk associated with a supplier’s role in the MOD supply chain. Applicants must demonstrate compliance with the controls set out in each level, describing how they meet them, and providing evidence of compliance.

Reliance has held Cyber Essentials Plus since 2022 which is the minimum standard of cyber security recommended by the Government. With DCC Level 0, we’re going above and beyond that baseline, and we hope this gives our customers further reassurance that we take cyber security seriously. We aim to work towards higher levels of DCC certification in the coming years.
