Quality assured to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 and the aerospace standard AS 9100 Revision B, Reliance is committed to providing the highest quality in terms of both manufacture and service.
The stringent quality controls enable Reliance to undertake the complete design and production of gears, gearboxes and complex electro-mechanical assemblies and the sub-contract manufacture of specialist gears and components to customers' drawings.
Specialist in house measurement facilities include single and dual flank rolling gear testers, gear tooth involute testers, profile measurement, CNC co-ordinate measuring machines and TEMS - a unique, in house developed system for measuring bi-directional kinematic errors resolved down to microns and arc seconds
Certificates of conformance with full material traceability can be supplied.
Reliance is certified to the environmental management standard BS EN ISO 14001:2004.
Reliance environmental policy
Reliance Precision Limited designs and manufactures precision assemblies and components at its site in Lepton Huddersfield. This policy applies to all activities.
The company manages the environmental impact of their operations. It does this by:
