Reliance specialises in the design, manufacture and test of high accuracy electromechanical assemblies. individually designed to meet customer specific requirements, for position measurement and feedback applications in the aerospace, medical, biotechnical, analytical, scientific instrument and defence industries.
Rigorous quality controls, a highly skilled workforce and a large knowledge base of proven design concepts enable Reliance to supply motion control systems with predictable performance which meet the specific requirements of its customers world wide. Modular designs are available for various positioning applications, which the design teams can tailor to meet specific requirements.
Reliance offers selected customers a specialised and dedicated department for testing, developing and rapid manufacture of new designs. Prototypes are produced directly in metal enabling Reliance to perform functional testing immediately thereby reducing time to market.
Much of the company's assembly work takes place in its extensive cleanroom classified at ISO 14644-1 class ISO 7 (class 10,000).
Reliance has developed a unique system which enables dynamic transmission error tests to be performed on completed geared mechanisms.
